The Spokane Chapter of the Northwest Credit Union Association will host its 9th Annual Golf Tournament on Friday, September 13th. The event, held at The Creek at Qualchan, is hosted in support of CU for Kids and CULAF (see below for information on these two great foundations). We invite you to join in the fun while supporting two very important fundraisers.
Employees, volunteers, vendors… all are welcome as we strive to make this our most successful fundraising effort to date! For details and to register, please access the form available here.
Thank you to our member credit unions and our vendors for your continued support and sponsorship. We look forward to seeing you at this summer’s tournament. See you on the green!
The credit union philosophy of "People Helping People" accurately reflects the role of Children's Miracle Network's Credit Unions for Kids fund raising program. What better way to make a positive community impact while keeping 100% of all funds raised for children in our area? CU for Kids is a unique opportunity for credit unions, their members, and their business associates to positively affect our own communities.
The State Credit Union Legislative Action Fund and Federal Credit Union Legislative Action Fund, known collectively as CULAF; raises funds to be used as campaign contributions on behalf of Washington credit unions and their members. These funds are used to enhance credit unions' visibility among lawmakers and build strong political relationships. Lawmakers who understand and support credit union issues are invaluable as political allies.

The Spokane Chapter provides scholarship grants to help strengthen our credit union community and contribute to the development of our local area credit union professionals. If your credit union is an affiliate of the Spokane Chapter of the Northwest Credit Union Association, we have scholarship funds available for staff, management and volunteers to assist in paying for educational programs that enhance individual performance and benefit your credit union.
The Spokane Chapter has a budget for credit union related programs as well as for CUNA Management School. Please note that scholarship money is offered throughout the year until the budgeted amount as been utilized.
