Thank you to all who participated and supported the 8th Annual Chapter Golf Tournament benefiting CU 4 Kids and CULAF on Friday, July 27th. Spokane's credit union community is a strong network and we are grateful for the support of so many credit unions and vendors to make this event successful. Our premier Sponsor, Morgan Stanley, made a significant contribution to the Chapter and we would like to thank Tripp Weller for their support.

Thank you to STCU for sponsoring the Hole-in-One competition. We had great response for hole sponsorships this year. Those who sponsored a hole included: Numerica CU, PrimeSource CU, Horizon CU, Spokane City CU, Spokane Federal CU, Loomis, M@P, FMSI, Contineo Technologies, Allied Solutions, CU Direct Corp, Devries, CU*Northwest, Habel Consulting and Diebold.
Along with sponsorships, there were a number of raffle items donated by Horizon CU, Numerica CU, Global CU, PrimeSource CU, Spokane Media FCU, Diebold, CUNA Mutual Group, NWCUA, M@P and State National Companies.
This year, Children's Miracle Network spent the entire afternoon out on the course taking team photos in front of the CMN balloon. These photos were put on the CMN Facebook and for every like, a child in the hospital received a blizzard from Dairy Queen. What a great way to brighten a child's day
At the end of our evening, after the course pros totaled up the points, we received the names of the teams that won the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and Highest Score places. Gift certificates to the course pro shop for these winners were made possible by CUNA's sponsorship.
Highest Score – With a score of 57 – Ted Nicol, Brad Ernster, Graham Roney and Hal Marshall
Each received a $25 gift certificate to the Qualchan pro shop
3rd Place – With a score of 49 – Dan Schulberg, Don McCracken, John Smith and Randy Laws

Scholarship Program
The Spokane Chapter provides scholarship grants to help strengthen our credit union community and contribute to the development of our local area credit union professionals. If your credit union is an affiliate of the Spokane Chapter of the Northwest Credit Union Association, we have scholarship funds available for staff, management and volunteers to assist in paying for educational programs that enhance individual performance and benefit your credit union.
The Spokane Chapter has a budget for credit union related programs as well as for CUNA Management School. Please note that scholarship money is offered throughout the year until the budgeted amount as been utilized.
